A welcoming approach leads beneath an arched front door into a useful porch, setting a charming first impression before continuing into the inner hall. To one side is a delightful snug, equally suited as a guest bedroom, where triple-aspect windows draw in natural light and frame views across the rear and side gardens. Decorative beams and a woodburning stove add warmth and character, creating a cosy retreat within the home. From the hall, the sitting room forms the inviting heart of the cottage a comfortable space that has been thoughtfully extended to include a study or music area, while a second woodburning stove provides an focal point and decorative beams continued above.

From the sitting room, stairs rise to the first-floor accommodation, while a further doorway opens into the kitchen. This characterful room features tiled flooring, extensive wooden cabinetry arranged above and below the work surfaces, and a generous pantry cupboard providing excellent additional storage. A traditional Rayburn serves the radiators, hot water and Aga-style cooking, complemented by separate gas hobs integrated into the work surface. An island peninsula breakfast bar creates a natural divide between the kitchen and the light-filled conservatory, currently enjoyed as a dining space, where garden views and direct access onto the patio make it a wonderful everyday living area. An opening also leads back around into the extended study area, enhancing the easy flow of the ground floor.

A large utility room offers ample space for laundry facilities, complete with a butler sink, worktops and plentiful storage below. A door opens to a separate cloakroom, while an external door provides a practical connection to the garden. There is also access to a small garage space. Steps then lead on to a striking glass and oak-framed orangery beneath a lantern roof. Filled with light by day and wonderfully inviting in the cooler months, this beautiful room is centred around a woodburning stove, creating an exceptional year-round space for relaxing, entertaining or simply enjoying the garden outlook.

Oak flooring runs throughout the ground floor, bringing the accommodation together with a warm, natural finish that complements the cottage’s period charm.

To the first floor there are 3 bedrooms, one of single bedroom proportions with ample storage and lovely views across the neighbouring paddocks. The further two double bedrooms are also decorated in a cottage style with half height wall cladding and original wooden doors. The family bathroom fitted with bath and shower over, WC and basin with storage below completes the upstairs accommodation.
